Tropebound Games is an independent game studio in Texas. We make fantasy, dark fantasy and romantasy games for readers.
What drives us
Readers pick books by the trope on the tag. Enemies to lovers. Fated mates. The morally grey one who is only ever soft for her. The found family who would burn a kingdom for each other. We come back to those moments again and again because they work, and because every good writer finds a new way to make them land.
We think those moments deserve more than a page. They deserve a world you can walk through, characters you choose to become, and a story that bends to what you do. That's what a Tropebound game is: the book, made playable.
Our name says it plainly. Every game we make is bound to a trope, and we tell you which ones on the cover.
How we work
Story comes first
We write like novelists before we design like game makers. Characters, chapters, twists and endings are the product. Everything else serves them.
Mature themes, handled with care
Some of our games go where today's romantasy and dark romance go. Those games are rated for mature readers aged 18 and older, carry content notes, and ask players to confirm their age. Inside the game, you set the pace: anything can be skipped, and the boldest parts stay off until everyone at the table chooses them.
Fair pricing
You unlock a game once. We don't sell subscriptions, and we don't build timers or tricks to make you pay again.
Privacy by design
What happens in play stays on your device. We keep only what we need to run your license and send your receipts, and we never sell your data. Our privacy policy has the details.
